Our "arm sling cape" was certified as a "FY2020 Kawasaki Standard Certified Welfare Product (KIS)", and a ceremony was held today to receive a certificate from the mayor of Kawasaki. KIS certifies innovative products that support people's "independence" and aims to "lead to the creation of new industries by enriching people's lives in general, such as creating new lifestyles and work styles." This is Kawasaki City's own standard for welfare products (see here for details). This year, 10 products were certified. With this certification as a trigger, Carewill will further strengthen the "region" x "welfare products" x "industry-academia-medical-government collaboration".
